Further more, the reason I went checking is because I noticed a lot of Subsonic clients have artist pages, like Feishin (desktop) and Tempo (Android), which makes me assume there is an option to send these over Subsonic. Sadly, Astiga just leaves them empty currently. It would be great if these images and biographies could be send to other clients as well.

Am I missing a hidden settings panel or is this really not an included feature?

From import playlist, only these formats are supported:

"You can bulk-import your playlists from .m3u and .pls playlist files in your storage."

Is it possible to make editing of playlists easier.

Rather than just adding to the current play queue when clicked on, could you have an option to edit the playlist?

In this editor, could you also sort on artist, song, album etc like you can in Google Music?

Also when adding songs to a playlist, it allows adding duplicates which make it confusing on large lists as there is no editor to check.

In the android app, I can "star" or "rate" albums or songs, this feature is great to find back albums or songs I really enjoy listening too. I can't do it while using the Astiga Web Player, or is it hidden somewhere?

I generally order all my CDs on artist name (by last name or group name), then that artist albums on release date. This is to my knowledge a common way to sort CDs. For example, right now my PSY albums go: 8th album, 7th album, single between 6th and 7th, 5th album, 6th album.

When checking all files of a genre etc I do like it on alphabet tho.

With the metadata editor I saw Astiga does acknowledge the release year tag, but when I go to an artist page their albums are sorted on alphabet.

Either sorting albums on artist page on release to create a chronological timeline of release, or even better maybe, making a setting on what way to sort for each page, might be nice. I understand it might be difficult to be truly chronological when multiple releases are from the same year as generally you don't input the exact date, but sorting on year would be a good start as in many cases it will be correct. If Astiga can recognise full dates I be really amazed tho, and I gladly manually retag all my files for that.

Should be a way to manually mark an episode as listened or unlistened too.

I choose an album from the Library to play, I clikc "Play all' (for that album). It adds all the tracks to the playlist twice. If the album has 10 tracks, it says 'Playing 1/20'. If it has 15 tracks, it says 'Playing 1/30'. I look at the playlist, it lists 2 copies of all tracks. After it plays through the tracks once, it plays them all again. Because I have Remove play songs' switched on all the time, each track is deleted after playing, so after two times through the playlist is empty.

I have tested this with many different albums, it happens with any album I choose. How do I add an album to the playlist so it will only play once?

Another odd behavior which may be related. When adding albums to the playlist, you can choose 'Play all' or 'Play shuffled'. When I choose 'Play all', the set of tracks is added twice, in album order (1-10, followed by 1-10). If instead I hit 'Play shuffled', it still adds 2 copies of the album, but only the 2nd set is shuffled, e.g., for a 10 track album it adds 1-10 in order, followed by the same 10 tracks in shuffled order.

Is this double-playing expected?

I would prefer that this section only displays albums that I liked listening to recently. This way it would become more useful for me and less static.

Small and simple suggestion! Not a huge quality of life thing, but it makes it tough to use the album library view on web.

Right now when browsing albums via the library in web there is little purple text underneath each album title that shows the album artist. If this field is empty (which is common and accepted in most media players) then it doesn't show anything there. However, on the app it falls back on just the album tag, which is nice and the more expected behavior I think.

A lot of people only use the album artist tag if it differs from the artist tag - i.e. comps, splits, etc.

However, the browser app does not remember the previously set volume when reopened (at least on Firefox). This seems like a pretty basic feature that is missing somehow.

Total Songs - I cannot see a way to view the total songs uploaded. I can see by Genre which is excellent, but not the total. I may be missing this so let me know if I am. If it is not shown, that will be a helpful feature.

We are coming from the Google Play shutdown, and working with 65,000 + files. Your software is so great, it is so needed -- to be able to manage your own music independently from all of these streaming services.

One benefit of GPM was alphabetical play. YTM has this, but because their scrolling functionality is so slow, not very useful.

I'd like to be able to play all titles in my library (spread across various folders) A-Z, which brings a nice variety in genres, artists etc.

Currently, if I open artist by alphabetical, the features are included as separate artists. E.g., I see 2Pac + a list of a dozen features. I believe a better way of doing this would be, as I think GPM did, use album artist to sort artist list as default and use artist to fall back on. This could also be implemented in the search function, although GPM functioned as Astiga did in this regard.

This is compounded by my second issue. In artist view, you have to scroll down to find an artist and you can't skip by letter. A better way of organising this would be to use a grid format, or at least use an A-Z list on the right to skip as is used in the browser section of Astiga.
