I have 2 types of music storage: listening music and DJ music. I keep them in separate root folders. right now I only have my listening library all tidy, sorted and uploaded to my cloud storage to be used with Astiga. would be cool if I could also do the same for my DJ files, but without it merging with the listening files. this is because I use different methods for sorting them, and some of the files would be duplicate in both libraries.

have been trying out astiga yesterday and while doing so trying out several storages, one drive / google./ ftp

finally settled on my onedrive because of ample space but now I cant get a clean sync.

There a now multiple entries of same file in song-list, some duplicates are greyed-out entries and some when clicked just give the error "File not found: /music/Senza .. resync path"

did several re-syncs but no succes.(tried with several options, like force resync etc.)

did delete storage in astiga and re-made it from scratch with no succes

did delete storage in astiga and made a new storage eg on google drive but no succes

deleted the one drive content but even then this mixed list of double entries and greyed out ones still in songlist..

Storage does not delete.

No console error and the button just looks like it is calling empty JavaScript with "JavaScript:;"

I have had to resort to revoking the integration from the storage ends instead, so now at least I see the 401 when the library tries to connect.

How can I completely remove the storage and its content from Astiga?

I may transfer my musical collection (around 280 Gbytes) from Microsoft OneDrive to Infomaniak kDrive (https://www.infomaniak.com/fr/kdrive).

Is there any chance Astiga can connect to a kDrive cloud?

What other options are people using that are price competitive or has anyone spun up a inexpensive home setup?

Going through the list on the Astiga site Koofr and OpenDrive look interesting as cloud services with OwnCloud looking like an interest self-hosting option.

Any advice here?

But when I try to save the configuration or browse the files within I get an error, but the error is blank. "Loading... | An error occured: | Go back to the initial directory" Likewise, trying to edit the nonworking configuration I have saved gives me this error: "WebDAV could not be added/edited, please check the entered settings and try again" I tried connecting to it via a regular WebDAV client and it connects without any problems. I initially had 2FA enabled on the account and was using an app password to connect Astiga, but when that didn't work I turned off 2FA and tried using the account password instead. Same result.

Any help would be appreciated. 😀

Method Not Allowed

The requested method PROPFIND is not allowed for this URL.

I verified that the connection settings are correct, and was able to connect just fine in another app. The URL is https://ogi.teracloud.jp/dav and the password token is given to you on your account page. I'm trying to add this account because 4Shared seems to have quietly (as in, this isn't reflected in their documentation at all) turned off their WebDAV support, at least for free users like me.

Edit: User error. I needed to move the /dav/section of the url to the Initial Folder box. :D

Supplementary question - presumably I should have asked it to scan just /music ?

TL;DR

Revoke access in Google Drive for Astiga, then edit the storage in Astiga, re-request the token and save it.

Longer explanation

When you grant access to Google Drive to Astiga, we receive a "token" which we use to prove we've been given access. This token has a lifespan of one hour. When you first request the token we also get a "refresh token" which we can use to re-request the token and keep things working.

However, if you ever re-request a token, the new token does not have the refresh token inside it. Currently, the edit storage page requires a token to be entered, but it's unpopulated, which means you might want to click the _Get code_ button to get a new token. If you do this, and copy/paste the token back into Astiga's "edit storage" page, and save it (as I advised you to do) this means the refresh token is lost, and access runs out after the default one hour.

Workaround

You must revoke permissions in Google Drive for Astiga and re-request the token.

1. Go to https://myaccount.google.com/u/0/permissions.
2. Click Astiga.
3. Click "REMOVE ACCESS" and confirm.

Now you can re-request the token. This new token should have the refresh_token:

1. Go to https://play.asti.ga/settings
2. Click the Google Drive storage account affected.
3. Click "Get token".
4. Authorise in Google Drive, then copy the resulting token back into the settings page.
5. Click "Save storage".

Longer term

The issue here is that the edit storage page requires the token, which encourages you to click _Get code_ but this new code does not have the refresh token so access gets cut off after a following hour.

We will fix the edit storage page so the existing token is pre-populated.

For a bit of background, SME is an enterprise-oriented solution for working with and managing multiple clouds. Many years ago, I purchased lifetime access, which I don’t believe they offer anymore. Any clouds you connect to the server appear as a folder in SME’s root directory, and some plans (like mine) offer WebDAV and FTP access to the whole thing. In fact, Astiga includes a preset to add the url for the service from back before the change of management.

I first tried adding a Box account using SME’s WebDAV. It added successfully, but the file scanner just kept repeating a GET on my starting folder no matter how I set it up. I tried again with sftp and that seemed to work better with the scanner successfully navigating through everything. However, I’m noticing that occasionally one of the tracks (around 1 in 5-10) will fail to download. SME’s documentation mentions a maximum of 5 concurrent connections, so I’m not sure if Astiga might be running up against that or if it’s something else in this convoluted setup. I figure an additional sync will probably fix everything, but my legacy 50GB box account is full so I’m in for a long wait. Also interested to see what performance is like.

So I was trying to connect my NAS to astiga using WebDAV and I keep getting a "Connection timed out" error. I don't know what I'm doing wrong in the configuration. Here it is:

For FTP and SFTP I guess the host would be the link proton gave me, but I don't know what to say about port.

I tried WebDAV but got the error message for using my Proton link: The requested method PROPFIND is not allowed for this URL.

You should follow the instructions provided by your storage provider, but generally they will provide a token which you use in place of your normal password.

So, in Astiga you should provide your username as before, but in the password field, type your special 2FA token:

Note that in some cases I've heard of usernames being case sensitive in unexpected ways, e.g. a mixed case username having to be specified in all lower case.

I have tried Subsonic running from a Raspberry pi at my place and from Google Cloud with MyDrive mounted via OCAMLFUSE. It somewhat works but Subsonic isn't very reliable.

I like the idea of astiga a lot because all my music is already in Google Drive (synced under 'my computer", not actually "my drive").

Because I have advanced protection on the account where my music is at (because there is also a lot of other sensitive stuff) I can't connect to astiga from that Google Drive account. So I shared my music folder to my partner's account and tried connecting from there. But Astiga can't see shared folders when syncing with drive, apparently.

I tried making the shared folder the "initial" and "root" folder by giving it the ID, but that just threw errors.

Any idea how to make it so that Astiga can see the shared folders?

I've tried saving jpg's to the right folders but it hasn't seemed to fix the issue. Can I embed the artwork into each music file somehow?

Additionally, is there an option to add band/artist artwork? Same again - there aren't any images when browsing for artists and it would be great to have those too.

I've been trying to move my files from Gdrive to Pcloud. After uploading and sincronize I've noticed that some albums doesn't have files. I've deleted all files and uploaded again to Pcloud from hard drive. A directory with 354 files, without sincronization, using storage navigation, it appears empty on Astiga. Why? Information on Astiga doesn't match with files on Pcloud.

Why?

MEGA support has been in beta since the start, and has never worked as reliably as expected. Whilst I have tried very hard to improve the reliability and performance, this has largely turned out to be unfruitful. Recently the system to get a token for MEGA broke, which made me decide to fully stop MEGA support. Further trying to fix it is unfortunately not economically viable for me.

What now?

References to MEGA have been removed from the website, as has the link to add your MEGA storage. Starting June 1st, support for MEGA will be removed. Until then, MEGA will continue working on a best-effort basis, although adding/changing accounts is no longer possible.

What should I do?

If you want to keep using Astiga, there are a couple things you could do:

• Connect your MEGA storage to Astiga via WebDAV or FTP using MEGAcmd. This does require some technical knowledge, and a server/computer you can have running when you want to use Astiga, although this can of course be a Raspberry Pi, a $1/month VPS, or a NAS.
• Move your music to a different cloud storage. There are many others that work with Astiga, and you can combine them as well to suit your storage needs.

I have a rather large library of almost 30k songs and all of them synced fine to Astiga, except for one.

In my Google Drive, I have 28912 mp3 and 283 flac files. However, Astiga shows 29194 songs in total, so one song's missing.

What would be the best way to find what song is missing from Astiga, so I can debug why it is not uploaded?

The SFTP storage is accessible over the internet (using password only not RSA key), and using the same SFTP information FileZilla can connect to the SFTP and browse contained folders and see mp3 files.

I tried pointing Astiga to /, /music, and /music/TEST but got errors each time:

The folder '/' does not seem to contain any files or directories.

The folder '/music' does not seem to contain any files or directories.

The folder '/music/TEST' does not seem to contain any files or directories.

Since Astiga is not showing any errors (other than 'no files/folders') is there anything I can do to troubleshoot the connection? Has anyone else experienced this before?
