Tagging double disks

Tagging double disks. I've tagged them as

Filename __ Track __ Disknumber

101 - songtitle __ 01 __ 1/2

102 - songtitle __ 02 __ 1/2

201 - songtitle __ 01 __ 2/2

202 - songtitle __ 02 __ 2/2


Does this work? How does Astiga handle double albums: as separate albums or can I play doubles with a different way of tagging them together? I'm currently thinking of these double vinyls with effectively 4 sides and something like 3-4 songs per side.

    Astiga looks at the disc number tag, the track number tag and album tag, and sorts them accordingly. So for one album, it will first list disc 1 track 1, disc 1 track 2 ... disc 2 track 1, etc.

    1/2, 1-2, 1_2, etc as disc number works as well, as long as it is consistent within your album.

    Thanks a lot Koen. I think this is the last bit of info I needed to finish sorting and tagging my collection. I think I'm about halfway through now, after finishing the massive C and E artist folders.
