Nautiline - a nice app with one flaw - you can't see any tracks!!!

I've just bought this Subsonic app, and it's really nice looking, nicely laid out but despite me testing Astiga on other Subsonic apps fine, with this app, it doesn't actually sync-download any of the tracks. I can see artists and albums.

I know it's not an Astiga app issue.... but has anyone else tried it with success or failure?

  • Nautiline have been sent logs. Like this.

    1771778913.008661 | Error | sync

Error getting full album: DecodingError.typeMismatch: expected value of type String. Path: subsonic-response.album.song[0].id. Debug description: Expected to decode String but found number instead.

Thanks @Julian - can you tell what the query that was sent to Astiga was from the logs?

  • Emailing you because it's big!

  • The albums, the artists and the artwork all synchronise perfectly. It’s just no tracks at all. It’s actually a lovely app I think and can’t wait to get it working! The two platforms together will make a really solid platform for me to use.

Thanks for the email - unfortunately the query isn't in there. Could you try in Nautiline again and I might be able to find the query that was made in our logs?

Looks like Nautiline doesn't handle numeric Subsonic IDs, so they are fixing that.

  • Am waiting for Nautiline to respond to the message a few days ago. Maybe he/she/they are away or it’s a low priority - but good that the answer seems to be solveable. It’s a lovely app so I hope so, and it has good Carplay support.

Nautiline say it has been fixed but the update isn’t quite out yet. Next few days.
