Playlist changes not reading through

JulianJulian Member

Using Nautiline, I'm editing, adjusting and reordering playlists, but they are not copying back to my Asti account. Do you think it's a Nautiline thing or an Astiga thing?

I've asked Nautiline but just seen my original playlist in my Astiga account so would be good to know where it lies, you think.

Can you try again and let me know the time and timezone you tried from - I'll try looking in the logs to see if Nautiline made any calls.

It is possible to update playlists via the Subsonic API.

18:12 UK (just now) Swing Out Sister playlist (don’t judge me! Ha!)

It looks like we received a call from Nautiline to update the playlist. Do you remember what you did to the playlist? Have you fully refreshed the playlist page in the Astiga Web app to see if it has made changes?

Okay, the playlist looks like it’s still there. It’ll be interesting to see now if I get my other device going which will have the previous stored one and see if that’s override is it. I’ll start it running at 6:44.

It has gone back, when I started my second device i think.

I can see it requested at 18:44 and there's no update call. I'll try to replicate your calls and see what happens.

Can you say what change you thought you made?

Ok, 18:55 just deleted every track except La La on my iPhone.

Now watching iPad to see what happens.

18:58 they all went back to the phone replicating the intact version on my iPad

Now I’ll try again, and chance the iPad version too, and see which one dominates!

Ok, oddly, it went back to the very very original version so I think it may be that any changes since I made the original playlist aren’t taking.

Can you leave that playlist alone now and I'll follow up when I've had the chance to run the analysis?

    It's all yours!
