can't delete my storage, astiga keeps 'ghosts' in songlist
Hi, new Astiga user here
have been trying out astiga yesterday and while doing so trying out several storages, one drive / google./ ftp
finally settled on my onedrive because of ample space but now I cant get a clean sync.
There a now multiple entries of same file in song-list, some duplicates are greyed-out entries and some when clicked just give the error "File not found: /music/Senza .. resync path"
did several re-syncs but no succes.(tried with several options, like force resync etc.)
did delete storage in astiga and re-made it from scratch with no succes
did delete storage in astiga and made a new storage eg on google drive but no succes
deleted the one drive content but even then this mixed list of double entries and greyed out ones still in songlist..
hope you can help
Bert

Hi Bert, thanks for trying us out!
The "ghost" tracks are tracks we've previously evaluated as not existing - they are set after "file not found" type errors. These all appear to be in your previous storage account "music bert". Shall I delete those entries for you?
I think when that storage account wasn't deleted we didn't properly clear up the existing library entries. We'll look into this.
yes, please, delete them
as a matter of fact I wouldn't mind if you deleted everything that might be still in there so I can start with a clean slate.
I just emptied the onedrive /music and there's nothing in it right now
thnks for the help!
I just deleted the 'music bert' storage for now. Some Web pages will be cached, so make sure to refresh them.
hi, the bulk has gone but astiga is now still populated with files that were in a subfolder /music/bandcamp
although a resync shows ""The folder '/music' does not seem to contain any files or directories."" and the onedrive is indeed empty
Shall I delete the /music/bandcamp files? There are 35. You should be able to do this here: https://play.asti.ga/remove-library - choose "onedrive" and enter "music/bandcamp/" as the folder.
although a resync shows ""The folder '/music' does not seem to contain any files or directories."" and the onedrive is indeed empty
If the OneDrive is empty, isn't that what you'd expect?
But going forward, try without the forward slash - it might be we've lost the disregarding of that.
Ah - I think I understand you - were you expecting the sync to remove the bandcamp files because they didn't exist anymore? This would work, but you'd have to put the initial folder as "/" or leave it empty.
I couldn't leave the initial folder empty, it seems to be a required data field
just the forward slash did not remove anything (this is what I did several times before also..)
but indeed when using music/bandcamp instead of /music/bandcamp which I also tried a bunch of times remove library got rid of these files as well!
ps, thnkz! Got it like I want now and it's perfect!
