However, I don&#39;t think I ever seen any image show up in any of my subsonic apps. Neither Feishin (PC, Linux) or Tempo (mobile, GrapheneOS, Android-based) has ever shown images.</p><p>I must have read wrong because at first I thought only bio&#39;s where supported so I didn&#39;t pay too much attention, but I just noticed images where also supposed to work.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;m not sure why, but after I synced today I got this bug. It was fine this morning before syncing, which leads me to think something changed with the sync process on the latest release causing this. I suspect some weird edge case due to the name, as I can imagine you didn&#39;t test albums with names like &Sigma; in third party clients specifically.</p><p>One album named &Sigma; is suddenly not showing on the genre page anymore.</p><div>

<p>When searching in the third party client, it also tells me there are 0 albums with this artist.</p><div>

It does NOT show under Pet Shop Boys.</p><p>Therefore, are you now (did you before?) taking all multi-artist albums and making them Various Artists? No problem if you are, but just curious!!!</p><p>If you aren&#39;t - why do you think this is happening?</p><p>Addendum : I have tried rescanning the library but clearly is still isn&#39;t picking up the Album Artist as I see it in the library. I keep them in separate root folders. right now I only have my listening library all tidy, sorted and uploaded to my cloud storage to be used with Astiga. would be cool if I could also do the same for my DJ files, but without it merging with the listening files. this is because I use different methods for sorting them, and some of the files would be duplicate in both libraries.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Some of the most common feedback we receive is around iOS. Typically we bashfully admit we don&#39;t have an iOS app, and point them to a Subsonic compatible app. Sometimes this gets adopted, sometimes not and we lose a potential listener.</p><p>So it&#39;s been on our roadmap for a while to fix this. </p><p><strong>I&#39;m pleased to announce that we have started work on our official iOS app</strong>, and we have a first build for you to start testing!</p><p>As ever, we&#39;re taking an incremental approach to development, driving it by feedback and bug reports. We also wanted to get <em>something</em> useful out there and in your hands (literally!). Some listeners only use storage browsing and so might find this valuable! </p><p>This first alpha only allows you to log in, browse your connected storage accounts and play tracks. It sounds minimal, and is, but we&#39;re hoping to add more functionality as time passes.</p><div>

<p>There&#39;s a wider goal here. Our long term vision is to bring the new iOS app up to feature parity with the Android one, and then shift the Android one to the same codebase. This is possible because the underlying technology for the new app supports both platforms (and others). For the nerds: we&#39;re using Kotlin Multiplatform (often abbreviated as KMP). The advantage to Android users is a more modern UI and use of more modern audio components which brings extra features. The advantage to us is that there is just one codebase, and it&#39;s actively developed, unlike the codebase that the current app was originally based on.</p><p><strong>Now we&#39;re looking for alpha testers to help us spot problems and guide development.</strong> If you&#39;d like to be involved, please drop a comment here or send us an email to info@asti.ga asking to be included. We&#39;ll need the email address that you log into the iOS App Store with, so if it&#39;s not the same as your Astiga login you might have to send us an email.</p><p>The minimum supported iOS version is 17.2. If its id in getAlbumList is &quot;123987&quot;, calling getAlbum with id=123987 gets an identical album object, but with a different id like &quot;123456&quot;. The other data like the parent, artistId, coverArt, etc all match. The album with id 123987 seems to only exist in getAlbumList.</p><p>This only affects some albums and their tagging is not similar, but they are both in m4a containers.</p>]]>

Can any of you recommend some of them so I can try them out on my Android phone?</p><p>I&#39;m in the processing of migrating from Spotify and their app is pretty versatile and smooth.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi</p><p>I&rsquo;m having an issue with searching within a music service in the Sonos S1 app, and I&rsquo;d like to understand if this is a known limitation or a configuration problem.</p><p>I am currently using the Sonos S1 system and have successfully added and connected the Stiga music service. I can browse the service within the Sonos app and play content without any problems.</p><p>However, when I try to use the search function within Sonos S1 for this service, I get no results at all. The search simply returns an empty result, even though I know the content exists and is accessible when browsing manually.</p><p>This makes me wonder:</p><p> Is search functionality for certain music services (such as Stiga) no longer supported in Sonos S1?</p><p>Or is there something I can do on my end (e.g. reauthorizing the service, resetting the app, or similar) to restore search functionality?</p><p>Any clarification on whether this is a limitation of S1 or a fixable issue would be greatly appreciated.</p><p>Thanks in advance</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Bug report (low priority):</p><ul><li>When an album folder name contains an apostrophe character (e.g. &ldquo;Harry Potter and The Sorcerer&rsquo;s Stone&rdquo; or &ldquo;50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin&rsquo;&rdquo;), the album cannot be added to the playlist.</li><li>Clicking (+) next to the album and selecting &ldquo;Add to now playing&rdquo; does not add the album to the playlist.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Bug report (low priority):</p><p>When playing tracks from the play queue and deleting tracks located above the currently playing track, the playback marker jumps down by one entry for each deleted track. Background: I sometimes delete finished tracks from the queue while test-listening to multiple albums in a row.</p><p>On rare occasions this also caused the marker position to shift permanently, resulting in all tracks between the currently playing track and the new marker position being skipped entirely. (Haven&#39;t found anything that fits to it.)</p><p>And sorry for the late post, I recognized this problem already a few weeks ago, maybe already in october or november, can&#39;t say anymore. Cause all the time I &quot;fixed&quot; it on my own.</p><p><br /></p><p>On the subject:</p><p>I have two storage connections to my dropbox account:</p><ul><li>The first one is named &quot;Dropb Musik aktuell&quot;, that connects to the Dropbox folder &quot;/Musik/0 Musik aktuell anh&ouml;ren&quot;.</li><li>The other one is named &quot;Dropb Musik fertig&quot;, that connects to the Dropbox folder &quot;/Musik/Musik fertig&quot;.</li></ul><p>Both have &quot;automatic synchronisation&quot; enabled</p><p>(Just for notice: This music I alreay edited with tags, pictures inside the file, a fitting file name and also the artist / album as folder name. This files are to listen and also check if there the mp3 files are OK and if I like the music. When ready, I move the album folder to the Dropbox folder &quot;Musik fertig&quot;.)</p><p><br /></p><p>To listen to a new album, I chose the folder directly from Dropbox and add all the songs inside the album folder into the &quot;Now playing&quot; playlist by clicking on the (+).</p><p>But no matter how many files are in the folder, it only adds 10s in the &quot;Now playing&quot; playlist.</p><p>For example, if the folder has 16 songs, it only adds the first 10. Another folder has 47 songs, but only 40 songs are added.</p><p>Examples of how I name my folders / files:</p><ul><li>File &quot;001 - Hans Zimmer &amp; James Newton Howard - Why so Serious&quot;</li><li>Folder &quot;The Dark Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)&quot;</li></ul><p>I recognized this phenomenon in both my connections. And I already checked if it could be cause of my browser settings and tools, like the extensions. Or my VPN connection.</p><p>But I get that phenomenon also when VPN is off.         <description><![CDATA[<p>As per the subject, not much more I can add. The &quot;Delete storage&quot; button does nothing when clicked.</p><p>Storage does not delete.</p><p>No console error and the button just looks like it is calling empty JavaScript  with &quot;JavaScript:;&quot;</p><p>I have had to resort to revoking the integration from the storage ends instead, so now at least I see the 401 when the library tries to connect.</p><p>How can I completely remove the storage and its content from Astiga?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, new Astiga user here</p><p>have been trying out astiga yesterday and while doing so trying out several storages, one drive / google./ ftp</p><p>finally settled on my onedrive because of ample space but now I cant get a clean sync.</p><p>There a now multiple entries of same file in song-list, some duplicates are greyed-out entries and some when clicked just give the error &quot;File not found: /music/Senza ..  resync path&quot;</p><p>did several re-syncs but no succes.(tried with several options, like force resync etc.)</p><p>did delete storage in astiga and re-made  it from scratch with no succes</p><p>did delete storage in astiga and made a new storage eg on google drive  but no succes</p><p>deleted the one drive content but even then this mixed list of double entries and greyed out ones still in songlist..</p><p><br /></p><p>hope you can help</p><p><br /></p><p>Bert</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I&rsquo;m writing with some possibly disappointing news; we&rsquo;re going to be raising the price of Astiga subscriptions starting 20 April 2026. The new prices will be:</p><pre spellcheck="false">| Currency | Old monthly | New monthly | Old annual | New annual |

</pre><h5>A look back</h5><p>We last changed prices over three years ago in 2023 (<a href="https://community.asti.ga/discussion/562/pricing-changes-for-2023/p1" rel="nofollow">https://community.asti.ga/discussion/562/pricing-changes-for-2023/p1</a> ); quite a long time ago. These changes had a significant impact on Astiga&rsquo;s viability. The adoption of 100% subscriptions reduced the &ldquo;churn&rdquo; (<a href="https://community.asti.ga/discussion/comment/2307/#Comment_2307" rel="nofollow">https://community.asti.ga/discussion/comment/2307/#Comment_2307</a> ) of the customer base and we now have a much more even and predictable income.</p><h5>Why we are making price changes now</h5><p>We&rsquo;re not making the same sweeping &ldquo;structural&rdquo; changes to pricing this time, we&rsquo;re just raising them! But we know that adjusting pricing in the past has helped the service continue developing for the future.</p><p>The past three years have brought more inflation, particularly in the past half-year. Our data center costs have been raised by 38% and technical staffing costs have also risen in line with general inflation.</p><p>So as our costs rise, we need to raise our prices to cover them.</p><h5>Why stick around?</h5><p>We don&rsquo;t automatically deserve your custom; there are alternatives out there.</p><p>We&rsquo;ve continued to listen to your feedback and fix the bugs that need fixing and implement new features (<a href="https://community.asti.ga/discussion/779/astiga-roadmap-2025/p1?new=1" rel="nofollow">https://community.asti.ga/discussion/779/astiga-roadmap-2025/p1?new=1</a> ).</p><p>We&rsquo;re continuing to build out the iOS app, we implemented Sonos integration, playlists have been improved and we&rsquo;ve done a lot of work on the scalability and security of the platform.</p><p>We&rsquo;ve just posted our <a href="https://community.asti.ga/discussion/850/astiga-roadmap-2026" rel="nofollow">roadmap for 2026</a> containing the broad areas we&rsquo;re aiming at improving.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I&#39;ve just bought this Subsonic app, and it&#39;s really nice looking, nicely laid out but despite me testing Astiga on other Subsonic apps fine, with this app, it doesn&#39;t actually sync-download any of the tracks. I can see artists and albums.</p><p>I know it&#39;s not an Astiga app issue.... but has anyone else tried it with success or failure?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I am having problems with Syncing my music library from Backblaze.&nbsp;I started a sync that appears to be hung.&nbsp;After about 30 minutes, I received an email saying &quot;Failed Autosync&quot;.&nbsp;Also if I try to &quot;stop the syncing process by clicking <strong>here</strong>.&quot; on the status page, nothing happens.&nbsp;And if I try to start a new sync, I am told:</p><p>&quot;Your previous sync is still running. Please wait for your previous sync to finish before starting a new one. The progress of your previous sync is shown below.&quot;  </p><p>The log shows about 3 or 4 albums were synced (out of about 15 albums in this batch).</p><p>But nothing ever progresses in that window.&nbsp;I am only trying to sync a small portion of my music library (about 10G) in this sync, just to test the system.  I have been looking at this for about 4 hours now.</p><p>I have paid for the Premium version, but so far nothing is working out for me.&nbsp;Does anybody know what I should do here to make the sync work.</p>]]>
