Cache album artwork on Android app

I have my whole library downloaded to my phone, since I'm on mobile data for a good part of my day. The cached music works wonderfully, but it appears that Astiga does not cache the album artwork. I have it saved both in the tags of each individual file, as well as in a separate cover.* file for each album.
In online mode, the album art downloads when I open an album list or play an album, even though the music files are all already cached on my device. When I go into offline mode, album art is not displayed at all.
It would be great if the album art were cached so that I could see it in offline mode/not have to continually redownload it in online mode.
