Artists not listed alphabetically under each letter

I have a lot of artists in my library and it would be nice to have them all listed alphabetically on the artists page. Right now under each letter, the artists are not in alphabetical order.

For example, if I click the "P" heading, I'm taken to a list of all the "P" artists, but "Portishead" is listed before "People Are Wrong".

    The list should be alphabetical from left to right, not top to bottom.

    Additional info: This is in the list view, not the grid view, which appears to be sorted properly.

    Here's an example of what I'm seeing. Note the two artists that both start with "Panda" and are not adjacent.
