Warning you only have xxMB left

I have been getting the above warning flash across my Android phone when I try to stream a song on the phone via mobile data. I have over 390GB of data to use so that is not an issue.

The track does not play, album art and name loads up but track does not start.

When I use WiFi the above issue does not happen. The tracks play normally.

I have cleared the app cache and increased cach size to 1Gb from 500MB to see if it resolves the issue. No joy.

I have my settings set to not download tracks and just stream them.

I have a feeling that I am missing something obvious but cannot figure out what is causing the issue.

Any suggestions/solutions?

    Is it obvious where the message is coming from - the app or Android itself?

  • It appears to be the app. I just had a track playing and pressed skip and the warning appeared again.

    Same issue when I turn off mobile data and switch to wifi. I then tried the pcloud app and had no issues.

    I might try a fresh install to see if that fixes it.

  • Ok, I think I fixed it. I did a fresh reinstall and looked at the settings. The issue contined until I switched the cache location to internal. The sd card I am using only had 4kb left on it which somewhat matched the error message I was getting.

    I explains why I was not getting error message with pcloud app as that is pointing at internal cache.
