Can't connect to SubSonic clients... ?

Tried to connect to two SubSonic clients on my Windows 11 system, SuperSonic and SonixD. Always tells me that "authentification failed", but I'm sure I did use the good data, which is provided on my "login information" box (in Astiga webplayer) : https, login, token, I doubled checked a few times each. I trid with http instead of https, I checked and uncheked the "use legacy authentification"... Never whants to access my files. What did I miss?

Not sure! Sounds like you did the right things... Is the Astiga app working for you?

  • Astiga app works ok, finally Sonixd somehow managed to retrieve my albums... But SuperSonic just grabbed my "genres" (it shows all the "genres" in my music collection, with the number of tracks for each), but that's all. No album, no covert art, no artists, nothing. I guess it's something to do with SuperSonic itself. Because it doesn't connect with my "token", only with my real password... ?

I guess I'll try connecting it later to our development machines and track the requests it makes, to see what's going on.

That's odd - it should only work with the token. Certainly, when I try it only the token allows me access.

I installed and pointed it at our development server. I can see it makes a request and the development server replies with the album list. But, like you, nothing is rendered. I'll create a ticket.

    Here it is: https://github.com/dweymouth/supersonic/issues/248
