Android app does not disconnect from Chromecast

Usually when casting from an Android app to Chromecast, another app starting to cast will cause the first app to disconnect. When another app takes over casting from Astiga, opening the Astiga app again will cause Astiga to reclaim control.
This also occurs if you pause Astiga playback while casting, let it time out so the Chromecast goes back to the standby screen, and then open the Astiga app. I've interrupted a few shows this way by opening the app.

Are these new problems? I don't think anything has changed in this area in the app's code.
No this has been the case for as long as I've used the app.
Ok, thanks. I've found a couple of references to best practices in this area. I'm not 100% familiar with the Chromecast API, but can only assume we can stop this from occurring...
