Synchronization log appears to be empty (when I go to inspect it from the UI). Which seems to make sense, I don't think synch is working. I upgraded to Premium and set the auto-synch flag. I don't think anything is happening, which is probably why my song doesn't play in Sonos either. There are only 6 songs in the folders I gave it...
I guess the maintenance is still ongoing, as no progress is shown in the log since yesterday afternoon... It would be nice to have a maintenance status shown on the website or the player - or a sticky thread on the community site.
I agree. I've stickied this for now. Yes, maintenance is ongoing. We've made a lot of progress, but noticed a few more things to improve a bit more so we're polishing those off too.
What is an expected speed for adding library items during a sync - when everything is working as it should?
Right now, (if the sync is not stuck, as it is now) I see approx. 50-80 Songs per hour. When I remember correctly, it was somehow faster last week, when the server issues were already making problems.
It varies a lot, by storage provider and our current load. Weekly variations could be either... Normally addiitons, if they are running on an unloaded server with nothing else, should just take a couple of seconds. But high levels of contention could affect that a lot.
@tomel Hmmm.... It looks to me like there has been a number of files added today and your library has been populated, but not fully. Is that not what you can see?
I'm about to deploy a few more improvements which should improve throughput. I can see you've got auto sync enabled, so it should pick up where it left off.
Yes, it crashed last night ð I've restarted it. So long as you haven't ordered a force refresh it should pick up where it left off. I can see your sync is currently queued before we start traversing the folders.
Progress report: we are considering the current stability and throughput as acceptable, but please (anyone) let us know if you experience further issues.
Please don't force refresh, it just makes your sync slower because everything up to that point also has to be refreshed. Can you state which artist or path it is, please? (By email if you'd prefer: info@asti.ga ).

Hi - thanks for reporting. The process restarted earlier this morning. Your job should restart again soon.
Perfect... Thank you!

I am new to Astiga and I hope it is not common, but a temporary problem after the server upgrade.
The sync for my library started a few times, but stopped after a few minutes and it's not clear if it's running or not.
Yeah, it's because of ongoing maintenance. I'm going to restart it today with more memory and it should run through.
Basically: we're trying to improve scalability of sync but we've reduced the allocated memory a little too much.

If the sync is not completely shut down, is it possible to reset my sync, as nothing happened in the last 24 hours?

ð€ŠI thought it was the 20th today...
Anyway, the sync process is restarted. I manually started you a sync.
Edit: it seems to be running atm...
Thanks... Sync finished completely...
Next sync started automatically at
but then stopped again at
while adding songs to the library.

yes, the job started but stopped soon after that while reading the library and before adding anything
Yep, I'm afraid I restarted it again by accident. The process is running; I've restarted your sync.

Hmmm.. I seem to keep getting stuck on the same artist on every r/s sync. I've tried "force refresh everything" but same issues

Ah I checked back this morning. It was stuck on there but finally finished so prematurely called this out!
