Unable to Syncronize Library

These past days I've been trying to sync my library (Google Drive). However, when I start the syncronization it sends me to the "update library" sub-page, gives the "Astiga will now start the synchronisation process. This can take several minutes up to several hours, depending on your music library size and whether your files were changed or not. The synchronisation progress log will be shown below. You can safely close this window. You can stop the syncing process by clicking here." message, but nothing else happens.

I've tried multiple times, both web and app to no avail. I have also verified that hours later, my library still isn't updated with the latest files from my Drive, just to check that it wasn't a pure UI/front-end issue.
