Syncing and 2F authentication

Mega went to 2F authentication awhile back and I hadn't tried sync to it until yesterday. When I tied, I got an error message. I went back, turned of the 2F on Mega and even created a new storage account for it on Astiga.

When I try to sync my old storage account, it says: The folder '' could not be synced because an error occurred. Check whether your storage settings are correct. Error details: Account could not be authenticated

When I try to sync my new storage account, it says: Slim Application Error - A website error has occurred. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

Are you sure you copied the token correctly? E.g. that you aren't missing some characters. I have tried to reproduce it, but it seems to work fine with my MEGA test accounts - both before and after enabling two-factor authentication.

  • Not only am I having trouble syncing, it appears that I now cannot get into Astiga at all.

I logged in just now and, despite getting a pop-up telling me I had successfully logged in, the log in page did not change over.

The logging in issue should be resolved after clearing your cookies for play.asti.ga, or closing your browser completely, and then opening the page again. That has to do with another change I implemented today (namely, only allowing the session cookie to be sent in a secure connection, but that can cause two session cookies next to each other to exist for a brief moment).
