Android 11 Force Cache Failure

Been using Astiga for a few months now and love it. Longtime user of GPM who took the time to do a full clean up of my library using Picardmusicbrainz and haven't looked back.

Everything was working fine until the latest Android update 11 (I'm on a Pixel phone). When I try to force a cache of an album (not permanent), it queues the songs but never actually managed to download anything. I have tried on different networks but that doesn't fix the issue.

It should work with Android 11 as well (it does on mine). Is there enough disk space left? Does the app still have the appropriate permissions (mainly the storage permission)? If that fails, reinstalling the app might fix some things as well.

  • I've reinstalled the app and double checked permissions as well as the cache location and still have the same issue.

  • I was already on the beta version. The update fixed all my issues.
