Hi @Julian - can you describe how that would work best for you? Do you mean a separate menu for album artists and compilations? This would only affect the Astiga service within Sonos, obviously.
Hello. Thank you for coming back to me. Different people have different requirements but that is largely because Sonos doesn’t treat compilations well if you are connecting it to a network attached storage. With your software, it gives us a fresh start opportunity so I would love to be able to have a menu item that says compilations that’s based on albums that have the compilation tag on the tracks. Some other people may say that they want just album artists represented on a mini item that has album artists so you don’t have Artist listing in their hundreds or thousands in the Artist listing if you have lots of compilation albums, they all appear under various artists or under compilations. To be honest, either would be amazing.
Yeah, I think I understand. The reason I ask is because there is some, but not much, flexibility in the way the library is shown via Sonos. Extra top-level menu items are feasible, but also have to be balanced with clogging the UI up too much.
Thinking about it, it might be possible to present menu items depending on the user, so we could drive it from data (if you have a lot of compilations, show the menu item) or settings in Astiga (afaik there's no way of having settings passed from Sonos to Astiga).
The way you have it on the web interface on your software is already correct. Album artists are listed as a drop-down option and that’s exactly how they should be in Sonos in my opinion. So you already have it working correctly, it just needs to be reflected on the Sonos.

Thanks for looking into this. I'll keep my eye out for the fix. Speedy service - great. Thanks.
@BobJ it should be available now: https://community.asti.ga/discussion/comment/4256/#Comment_4256
It's fixed. Brilliant, thank you. Taken me an age to eventually get full access to my own music on SONOS.
🙌 thank you, it means a lot to get that feedback!
I would love Compilation and/or Album Artist support on Sonos (I’m using Dropbox). Thank you.

Compilations!! WOW! How can Sonos not do this on the Library feature! It’s beyond me…. Thanks again.
