multiple libraries?

is there a way to have more than 1 library, and being able to switch between them without merging them?

I have 2 types of music storage: listening music and DJ music. I keep them in separate root folders. right now I only have my listening library all tidy, sorted and uploaded to my cloud storage to be used with Astiga. would be cool if I could also do the same for my DJ files, but without it merging with the listening files. this is because I use different methods for sorting them, and some of the files would be duplicate in both libraries.

No, there isn't right now. We do store this information, but we don't make it possible to filter by this in the UI...

I should update this thread to say this is now possible with profiles: https://asti.ga/docs/library/hiding-storage-with-profiles/

If you set the client as the Web app and switch between the different storage accounts you should only see music from that storage account.

You can apply the same rule to other clients (the Android app, Sonos etc) too.

"If you set the client as the Web app..."

Is it actually possible to use a profile for the web app? I don't see the web app listed in the "When to Activate" dropdown.

Ah - oops. Choose "all other clients" which should work, and let me know when you've done it and I can change it specifically to the Web.

Edit: actually, it won't work. We need to do a little more work in the backend - we'll look into this.

@Josh We've added the Astiga Web site as a client:

Let us know if it works...
