Picture-in-picture Mode

The title says it all. I don't think this would take that much programming to put in the player.

So do you mean in the Android app or in the web app? I know picture-in-picture mostly from video (where the video plays as an overlay on top of whatever you are doing), but as Astiga does just audio, I don't quite see how that would work.

In the app, there are of course the controls in the notification menu (for most common playback controls). In the browser, that exists too (in Chrome, it's on the top right with the audio icon, same for new Edge).

Yeah, like in the web app. I'm on a Chromebook and I know services like Spotify can play songs and show the album art in picture-in-picture mode. Also sorry for responding so late.

  • No, I don't think so. Spotify has the feature to play in picture-in-picture mode in the player's options. That's the kind of thing I want in Astiga.
